Henry Reeves and Co in Maidstone are looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant. The successful candidate will work within a dynamic, friendly and busy team and must be able to adapt to the needs of the business.
Duties will include the all round tasks of providing accounting and tax services to small owner managed businesses that are mainly limited companies. Applicants must have a driving licence and have use of a vehicle.
The ideal candidate must have at least 2 years practice-based experience within a role that includes accounting / booking keeping and taxation work. This candidate must have the ability to prioritise their workload effectively, have good attention to detail, be flexible in their approach to work, a team player and be able to use their initiative. Experience in using Xero, Sage 50 and Sage Accounts Production would be an advantage but is not essential.
Our office hours of work are Monday to Friday 9.00 am to 5.30 pm. We are willing to consider applicants who want anywhere between 25 and 37.5 hours per week.
