Assistant Savings Product Manager

Assistant Savings Product Manager, £22,000 - £30,000, Chatham, 12 Month FTC Contract.

My client, based in Chatham, are looking for an Assistant Savings Product Manager to join the Chatham based team on a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract. You will be working within an established team of professionals who will all have a similar skill set and background to yourself, so you will be able to interact with like-minded individuals daily.

The Key purpose of this role is to assist the Senior Savings Product Manager with day to day management, development and implementation of Savings product proposition across both brands in order to meet the Banks key financial metrics.

Main Duties;

* Be responsible for reviewing the savings product range in accordance with the Product Governance Framework and Product Review Schedule ensuring that the relevant stakeholder engagement has taken place before the review is submitted to the relevant governance forum
* To assist the Senior Savings Product Manager in the development, pricing and management of the portfolio of products offered to attract net retail savings inflows to meet the groups funding requirements.
* Own the production and maintenance of analysis to cover competitors, savings markets, product performance, operations and call centre metrics, flagging material changes to the Savings Product Team.
* Support the Senior Savings Product Manager to produce pricing recommendations for consideration by attendees at the Savings Pricing Meeting. Ensuring all governance, policies and procedures are adhered to at all times.
* Create all rate schedules for validation by the Senior Savings Product Manager or Deputy as required.
* Drafting of change controls for review by the Senior Savings Product Manager or Deputy before submission to any outsourced partner for implementation.
* Drafting of marketing instructions for review by the Senior Savings Product Manager or Deputy before submission to the Marketing Team.
* Review and approve amendments to Key Features and Summary Box documents as required, primarily for new products and product amendments.
* Review and approve amendments to website (including Banner Advertisements).
* Assist the Senior Savings Product Manager in the creation of Savings product inputs for internal committees/dashboards and ad hoc Savings Analysis as required.
* Communicate product changes to the Savings Aggregators and develop a working relationship with key contacts.
* Assist the Savings Product Team in any other areas that may arise from normal day to day operations and also as the Bank grows and expands its product offerings.
* Support the Savings Product Team with the delivery of ad hoc MI, projects and company initiatives.

Experience;

* 12 months previous experience working in a retail bank and/or servicing environment is essential
* Previous experience working in a high pressure environment, managing several projects simultaneously, whilst meeting tight deadlines.
* Previous experience working in a product management.
* Basic knowledge of the financial services industry is essential
* Basic knowledge of Product development is desirable


As an Assistant Savings Product Manager working with this company, you will be rewarded with a basic salary of £22,000-£30,000 DOE. You will also be entitled to an excellent range of benefits.
