About us:

Canterbury Oast Trust provides care and support for adults with learning disabilities in small family style homes within a residential or community setting across Kent and East Sussex. Our charity also provides development opportunities and accredited training courses in a variety of vocational subjects through our Life Skills Service. We also own and operate the South of England Rare Breeds Centre.

About the Role:

We are looking to recruit a REGISTERED MANAGER for our Community Support Services (CSS) with responsibility for eight supported living services within Ashford, New Romney and Woodchurch.

As REGISTERED MANAGER based at our Woodchurch Office, you will lead the development, growth and operation of the Trust\'s Supported Living Service in support of the strategic aims and objectives of the Trust under the guidance of our Head of Care. You will maintain quality standards required by the Trust as well as meeting all relevant legislative requirements. You will also be responsible for the day to day management of the CSS budget; contribute to tender submissions and work with the Senior Care Team to support the smooth running of care services overall. The Registered Manager (CSS) is also part of our out-of-hours on-call management rota.

About You:

As Registered Manager - Supported Living Services you will need::

o Experience of managing a multi-site, multi property Service
o Minimum of three years Registered Manager experience
o Experience of line managing a team providing direction, leadership and motivation
o Knowledge and experience of the needs and rights of adults with Learning Disabilities
