Payroll and HR Administrator

Our award-winning client based in Crowborough is looking for a Payroll and HR Administrator to join their busy and successful team. They are passionate about the products and services they offer, as well as their teams, and are recognised for being an investor in people. This role offers a huge variety of duties for someone with experience in payroll and would love the opportunity to develop their skills within HR also. The hours are flexible and can be 9.00am to 4.30pm or 9.30am to 5.00pm.
The role:
Process monthly timesheets including data entry into Pegasus Opera 3 payroll for approximately 500 employees
Processing P32, P11D's, P46 Car forms, statutory year end returns and P60s and tax codes
Deal with employee salary and payroll queries
Responsible for maintaining and updating all payroll processes
Submit RTI reports to HMRC
Process all new starters and leavers including holiday paymentsâ
Process all paperwork associated with employment changes and variations to contracts â
Create and maintain all employee personnel files and maintain monthly payroll files for all new starters, leavers, changes and bonuses
Processing new employees DBS's
Support the HR Advisor with any additional HR administration requirements
Ideally you will have:
Experience of using Pegasus Opera 3 is advantageous though not essential. Previous computer accounts system experience is required
MS Outlook, Excel (Advanced) and Word skills
Knowledge of statutory payments as appropriate i.âe.â SSP, SMP, SPP, SAP
Previous knowledge of running a payroll essential
