My Client, a Manufacturing company with a worldwide reputation for producing a specialist product for over 70 years, is now looking to recruit an experienced Maintenance Engineer - Mechanical bias to provide effective and efficient planned, preventative and breakdown maintenance.

The Role: Maintenance Engineer - Mechanical bias

To provide fault diagnosis, solutions and repair in /on areas of machinery and plant such as machinery breakdown

Complete work as issued by maintenance planning and prioritise unplanned work

Implement improvements

Respond to machine breakdown requests from production

Carry out technical and details parts planning

Support training for apprenticeship programmes

Suggest and implement improvements to plant

Skills / Experience / Qualifications: Maintenance Engineer - Mechanical bias

Apprentice-trained craftsman - Mechanical Engineering

Knowledge and use of all appropriate safe systems of work and risk assessments

Trained and licensed counterbalance/reach fork-lift truck driver, mobile working platform operator

Team working

Over 4 years relevant experience preferable

Risk assessing skills

Heavy Plant experience

Manufacturing / Production environment experience

This is a day shift role
