The Best Connection Employment Group are currently recruiting for multiple Order Pickers to begin working for our client based in the Allington, Kent area.

As a result of the current COVID-19 virus, this particular company have seen a huge increase in demand. As a result, they are requiring a number of workers to assist them on a temporary or permanent basis.

Duties will include:

- Order picking
- Operating LLOP trucks
- Prearping orders ready for dispatch
- Labelling and wrapping pallets
- Keeping the warehouse as clean and tidy as possible

We currently have a rotating shift available from Monday to Friday. Weekends may sometimes be required but this will entirely be at your choice. Please see the rotating shift times below:

Week 1 - 06:00 - 14:00
Week 2 - 14:00 - 22:00

Your shifts will rotate every week with the above times. We are looking for candidates who can be flexible to rotate around these shifts every week.

During the first week of your placement, you will need to conduct 4 days training on-site with the company which will include health & safety, manual handling, training to use LLOP trucks and many other aspects. You will be paid for the whole duration of the training.

Dependent on your performance and accuracy of the items you pick for dispatch, you may also be entitled to a premium on your hourly rate. We have highlighted below the breakdown in order to achieve the highest pay rate.

1% to 106% - £8.72 per hour
107% to 114% - £9.22 per hour
115% or above - £9.72 per hour

These will be recorded every week to ensure your pay is accurate based on your pick rate.
