We have a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic dietitian with solid band 5 experience to join the band 6 rotational programme within the dietetic team at Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust.
We are looking for a dietitian with strong communication and team working skills and a desire to develop their skills in a wide range of specialities. The areas covered within the rotations include; acute medicine, emergency and elective surgery, intensive care, gastroenterology, respiratory, diabetes, stroke, paediatrics, oncology, haematology and outpatients. You will be supported by the clinical lead dietitians to complete clinical competencies in these specialist areas providing excellent opportunities for professional and personal development.
The department provides a nutrition training programme for the multidisciplinary team and hosts training to A and C placement students. You will be actively involved in these training programmes and in the development, implementation and audit of patient care practices as part of clinical governance. There will also be opportunities to develop supervisory skills through mentoring junior members of the team.
