We are looking to recruit a Website Content Officer to join our Communications Manager and work with colleagues across our Academies Trust in an exciting new role. The ideal candidate will be an English or Journalism graduate, or former journalist or copywriter, with a real flair and passion for writing along with excellent communication skills. Please note the role is not a technical or IT based position.

The successful candidate will be required to work 37 hours per week, for 38 weeks per year (term time only). The successful candidate will be responsible for creating, editing and developing online content and services, liaising with colleagues across Valley Park and Invicta Grammar Schools, while ensuring that content is simple, accessible and audience-focused.

The Website Content Officer will be responsible for overseeing the creation, development and delivery of news content for our websites across the two schools, as well as the social media platforms. You will be required to:

- Write quality news features and articles, quickly and effectively, to promote school news, events and achievements;
- Use all appropriate social media platforms to promote school news, events, successes and information;
- Work closely with teachers, students, and communication and marketing colleagues to ensure co-ordinated delivery of activity/news/events;
- Management of regular Invicta alumni communication, primarily through social media and website;
- Collaborate with marketing colleagues to create promotional concepts when necessary;
- Work with the Trust Communications Manager to establish priorities and develop new ideas and projects.

Valley Invicta Primary School at Aylesford, Valley Invicta Primary School at Holborough Lakes, Valley Invicta Primary School at Kings Hill, Valley Invicta Primary School at Leybourne Chase and East Borough Primary School which has recently joined the Trust.
