Property Claims Handler, Kent

Barker Munro, the insurance recruitment specialists, is pleased to be working with this entrepreneurial insurance company who specialise in claims management and who are currently looking to expand their claims function with the addition of a property claims handler.

As a Property claims handler, you will handle subsidence claims on behalf of policyholders and the network of tradesmen in your given line of insurance to successfully conclude the claim. Most claims will be based around Household/domestic and subsidence claims market. You will liaise with surveyors and adjusters as well as the policyholder in order to manage the claims process and reach effective settlement of the claim.

A knowledge and background in handling subsidence claims or household/home/property insurance claims is required for this particular role but consideration will also be given to your CV if you have a proven record of handling claims from other lines of business or have worked in an adjusting or surveying role from within the 'Domestic' market. Unfortunately if you don't have claims knowledge from within general insurance, we won't be able to consider you for this particular role.
