Ashford School is an independent school operating from two sites. We are now recruiting a Site Caretaker/maintenance person to help look after Ashford Prep School located at Great Chart, Ashford.

Responsible to the Prep School Facilities Manager your tasks will include Maintenance Works, Pool systems and maintenance, Security, Transport, Cleaning, Porting as well as Health and Safety.

The incumbent will be responsible for the daily cleanliness, maintenance and security of the school site working to the highest standard. Key duties are the maintenance and operation of the pool, including quality of pool provision; maintaining the buildings and the school’s facilities, including play equipment.

Location - Ashford Prep School (but will be required to travel to other Senior School site in Ashford)

Hours - This is a full time position for 52 weeks of the year. Core working hours will be 40 weekly - evening and weekend work will be required in addition to this on a shift basis (annual allowance payable).

Holidays - 25 days annual leave

Meals - Free lunch during school term time (Monday to Friday).
