Warehouse Operative
Borough Green, Sevenoaks
Responsible for the day to day running of the warehouse areas. To ensure timely and thorough handling of orders & queries, ensuring excellence at all times.
DUTIES
* To significantly contribute individually and as part of the team to help achieve the above job purpose.
* Timely processing of packing & dispatching of orders. Monitoring the order process to ensure customers' expectations are met at all times.
* Loading & Unloading of deliveries & dispatches, ensuring relevant paperwork is passed back to the Office for the updating of stock control
* Provide support to the install & workshop teams when required. Consistently maintain professionalism and respect on site, liaising with the client where necessary to ensure full customer satisfaction at all time
* Display practical and organisational skills to ensure the workshops & general areas of all units are kept clean, tidy and to a high level of appearance.
* Display job interest, self-motivation, attention to detail, accuracy and a positive mind set at all times for the benefit of both the customer and your fellow work colleagues.
* Show flexibility with regard to working hours, particularly when under pressure to meet deadlines. Be able to resolve problems quickly and effectively as and when they arise.
* Build strong relationships with work colleagues, particularly Customer Service & Project Supervisor
* Ensure Health and Safety is at the forefront of everything you do, complying with UK legal requirements by acting responsibly at all times.
* Show respect for company supplied forklifts & vehicles, ensuring they are well maintained at all times to portray a professional public image.
* Any other reasonable duties as requested by your line manager.
Salary £20K-£22K - dependent on experience.
Forklift Licence essential - either Counterbalance or Reach - preferably both.
Working hours Mon-Fri - 8.30am-5.30pm
