HR Adviser

£25,000 - £30,000 Per Annum DOE



Our client, a market leading food producer, is looking to recruit an HR Adviser to join their team on a permanent basis. This role will be paying £25K-£30 Per Annum depending on experience.



As the HR Adviser, you will…

* Provide day to day operational HR services ensuring consistency for multiple UK sites.
* Provide advice and assistance on policies, procedures and legislation to Managers.
* Manage / Support any investigations including capability, grievance and disciplinary.
* Assist the HR Assistant to maintain pensions, life assurance and occupational health.
* Working with the Payroll Manager to assist with the process the monthly payroll.
* Support the HRD to provide and develop a proactive HR service for the business.
* To participate in meetings and cross functional projects as appropriate.
* Proactive in working with the senior management team to identify solutions to situations.
* Monitor and measure HR statistics and identify trends.
* Assist the HRD to complete the annual action plans for both sites including projects.
* Assist the HRD to identify training requirements and solutions including the design and delivery of in-house training.
* Assist the HRD to ensure ethical business practices including modern slavery are practised throughout the business.

Person Specification:



* Experience of working in a small but busy HR team
* Previous experience working in the food sector would be a distinct advantage
* Good Microsoft skills including spreadsheets, able to build reports
* Ideally CIPD Level 5 qualified or currently studying
* Familiar with BRC and Ethical audits
