A new and amazing opportunity has arisen with a well-established and growing Company who are recruiting an Accounts Assistant.
This is a fabulous fresh opportunity within a friendly team with a warm family feel. Set in a lovely location, within walking distance from Sevenoaks station, this role offers the candidate an opportunity to grow and develop within this well-established Company.
My client is a firm of specialist Tax Consultants and Chartered Accountants. They provide expert tax advice and the general business support their clients require, particularly for growing companies and their stakeholders.
Their high-tech clients are growing rapidly, and they are providing the advice they need on tax issues and supporting them to manage this growth and their rapidly changing accounting needs, including bookkeeping, management accounts, VAT returns etc and year end reporting.
My client is looking for an accounts assistant/semi-senior who can work with their clients to provide the accounting support they need. This includes:
• Bookkeeping using Xero
• Preparation of VAT returns
• Providing support on payroll and other compliance issues including company secretarial when needed.
• Working with the Tax team and providing support where appropriate.
The individual will report to the Accounts Manager.
You will need to have one year's experience working in practice, a professional environment and with clients. You will need to have the ability to learn to analyse client situations to identify issues and opportunities and apply your experience to help provide solutions to clients. You should also have good communication skills, be systematic, diplomatic and focused. Live locally to sevenoaks, Tonbridge, Tunbridge Wells, Bromley or Orpington.
Hours Mon – Fri - 9am – 5pm
Salary - £20-22k,
