Finance Assistant job based Maidstone £20k-£25k DOE. Ideally AAT studier with recons and month end experience
Your new company
You will be working for a large established organisation whose Kent sites Turnover equates to one third of their UK business. The Finance Assistant job has become available due to a retirement in the business. You will report and support the Finance Manager with a small finance function. At present they are working from home and may look into this in some form in the future.
Your new role
You will be responsible for reconciling daily load movements, produce daily statistics sheet and ensure invoices are raised. You will monitor sales receipts and ensure payments are made by customers on contract terms, produce traffic management reports and download. You will assist with raising purchase orders, matching purchase orders to invoices and assist with the purchase ledger. You will assist the Finance Manager with general financial tasks as necessary and take responsibility for production of AWL financial statements.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need experience in an all round accounts role including reconciliations, completing month end and understand the full purchase ledger cycle. Ideally you will be an AAT studier or QBE. You will have excellent Excel skills and ideally have SAP or AX experience but not essential.
What you'll get in return
You will receive a salary in the region of £20k - £25k DOE plus some study support, annual performance bonus and 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays.
