Senior Business Accountant
35 hours per week, Permanent
£56,766 + London allowance £4,314
Based in West End
We are on the hunt for a Senior Business Accountant to join a leading client of ours, a top not-for-profit organisation in the healthcare sector.
A CCAB recognised qualification is essential for this role (ICAEW, ACCA, CIPFA, ICAS).
This is a new role created to provide a full business accounts service to a specific area of our client's business. This area's finance function recently transferred over to be part of the larger group's service, so a key element of your role will be facilitation this transition.
About the role
As Senior Business Accountant you will be the key business partner to the Executive Team and other Senior Managers as appropriate, providing expert advice and support on commercial and financial matters.
You will have a pro-active approach to business issues including the development of business plans which will enable to this area of the group to develop products and services which members want and need.
You will be responsible for managing the provision of accurate, timely and relevant monthly management reports and taking a lead role in forecasting and budget setting.
The role will require effective line management, support and development of the Assistant Business Accountant in your team.
Your work will include utilising a variety of business analytical tools to help inform business and product development decisions.
About the candidate
* Must hold a recognised CCAB qualification or equivalent (ICAEW, ACCA, CIPFA,ICAS)
* Be able to demonstrate excellent management accounting and communication skills and have significant experience in other finance department roles.
* A desire to continuously improve financial processes, ensuring effective and informed business decisions
* A high level of expertise in accounting software packages and be able to demonstrate strong negotiation and influencing skills.
