Xtracare Ltd are looking for an enthusiastic individual with excellent administration skills to join our team.
We are a Home Care Agency based in Aylesford Kent. You will be joining an independent family owned and operated company. We provide services for people of all ages and with varying needs of care and support in their own homes. The ideal candidate must be flexible, organised, computer literate and able to work under pressure. Working alongside the company Owners/Directors and reporting to the Company Manager you will assist in enabling the company to fulfil its obligations as laid down by the Care Quality Commission and Kent Social Services
Key Responsibilities
Preparing payroll information for staff, liaising with our Accountants
Calculating staff mileage
Maintaining staff holiday and sickness records
Updating daily care records and notes onto computer system
Keeping staff personnel files updated and accurate including training files
Making DBS applications online for care staff checking all relevant documentation
Dealing with references for all new staff
Dealing with clients and their families by phone, letter or e-mail.
Updating ASC-WDS (old NMDS)
Dealing with professional bodies such as Social Services, GP’s, District Nurses.
Purchasing office supplies and carer equipment.
Keeping client files updated and accurate.
General admin duties, including filing and archive storage
Keeping all information in line with GDPR requirements
Being a key individual in the implementation of our new computer system
Essential
Strong IT skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
Previous office administration experience
Excellent written and spoken communication skills
Attention to detail
Good time keeping
Willingness to learn and take on new projects
Desirable
Understanding of the care sector
Benefits
Full Time, permanent position 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. Monday to Friday
£18,000 per year paid fortnightly
20 days holiday plus bank holidays, increasing to 24 days after first year
Company pension scheme
