Warders Medical Centre is seeking a Dispensary Manager for their branch surgery in Penshurst, a village situated between Tonbridge and Tunbridge Wells. You will be responsible for ensuring the provision of efficient and accurate dispensing of medication to patients and ensuring effective financial control of the dispensary. Working alongside the GP partners and Practice Manager, your key tasks will include:
* Managing the small dispensary / reception team
* Stock purchasing and control
* Processing and dispensing prescriptions
* Ensuring Standard Operating Procedures are up to date and compliant
* Taking responsibility for the Dispensing Services Quality Scheme
* Ensuring the implementation of the Health & Safety and Infection Prevention and Control policies within the branch surgery
You should have experience of leading a dispensary team and have a dispensing qualification. Good organisational, communication and time management skills are essential, as is the ability to remain calm under pressure.
It is expected that the role will entail approximately 25 hours a week, however flexibility is required.
