Key responsibilities
• New business development.
• Building relationships with existing clients aimed at repeat business / higher levels of work.
• Raising quotes and estimates in accordance with company procedures.

• Budgetary control of projects and monitoring and reporting thereon.
• Monitoring progress of work on site.
• Ensuring site diaries / attendance sheets are completed and approved by clients.
• Monitoring labour hours onsite versus actual claimed time on a job by job basis.
• Report/highlight any potential overspends immediately to the Directors / Finance Dept.
• Assume responsibility for the site programme/site delivery to client timescales.
• Ensure risk assessments & method statements are written and issued for site process / hazardous activities being undertaken.
• Ensure Site operatives are working in accordance with site RAMS and deliver work safely without incidents.
• Ensuring work is to the correct standard / quality of workmanship and client is satisfied.
• Attend site meetings in line with company / client requirements.
• Reporting on any issues / successes and discussing up and coming work / projects with G&P management team / personnel.
• Holding weekly and or daily meetings with other G&P Managers / Personnel to assist in planning and site programme timescales.
• Raising non-conformances / corrective action reports when things go wrong or customers are dissatisfied.
• Attending costing meeting with the finance team to review budgets and actuals. Providing feedback on variances as appropriate.

We’re a small team so you will be required to assist with incoming phone calls, visitors to reception and making a round of teas every now and then!

You’ll be a team-player with a flexible attitude and willingness to learn. You will be confident with IT, and happy to pitch in when required to assist project managers with software queries or technical assistance.

Experience with Excel essential. Experience of CRM software would be of benefit, but training can also be provided.
