An opportunity has arisen within our Folkestone workshop for a CNC machinist to join our team.

Main Duties
The ideal candidate will have good knowledge and be fully trained in machine shop practices with specialist expertise and experience of CNC machining centres. They are expected to run all aspects from programming, setting and running with the emphasis on quality and time efficiency. The main role would be working on Mach 3 or Syntec controlled CNC machines as required.
The successful Candidate will be part of a small team and have responsibility of producing and measuring component parts to drawing with limited supervision. They will be responsible for all aspects of the process from machining strategy to programming, setting and operation to jig and tool manufacture, in addition to ensuring that the machines are well maintained. Working closely with the CNC supervisor and workshop manager to maintain workflow and meet timelines for orders.
Assembly of machined parts may be required on occasion, so experience in cabinet making, joinery and woodshop machinery may be advantageous. It is essential that the candidate is flexible to undertake other work as required within the workshop.

Essential requirements
Knowledge and experience of working within the manufacturing industry
Experienced CNC programmer with knowledge of Mach 3 and Syntec
Competent multi-tasker with excellent attention to detail.
