Workshop Supervisor
Mid Kent
c.£28K-£32K
Fantastic opportunity for an experienced Joiner with some supervisory experience to join an expanding and innovative organisation based in Mid Kent.
Duties include:
* Leading by example in manufacturing products in a joinery workshop
* Being on hand to support the small team you are supervising
* Managing the demand of products and ensure build times are adhered to
* Maintaining the highest quality whilst working to productivity targets
* Divide time efficiently by both working on the tools and managing the team
* Work with other members of the senior team to ensure staff are prioritising efficiently and are aware of deadlines
* Working to all health and safety rules and regulations
* Ensure a safe and clean workspace at all time
* Occasionally visit customers and suppliers when needed
The right candidate will have/ be:
* Experienced in joinery with a solid working history
* Previous supervisory/management experience
* Happy to work on the tools
* Excellent interpersonal skills
* The ability to get the best out of people
* A strong commercial outlook
* A positive and can-do attitude
* Excellent time management skills
This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking for a long term supervisory experience with the opportunity to make an impact on team performance.
