Venrec are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of our client for a practice accountant to join their practice based in Maidstone
The role entails
Producing accounts for a variety of different industries and business structures
Preparing personal and corporation tax returns
Preparing VAT returns
Speaking to clients in order to deal with any queries
A successful candidate will have the following skills and experience
Qualified or part qualified ACCA or ACA
At least 3 years recent experience working within a firm of accountants
Experience using IRIS, Sage, Xero and QuickBooks
Payroll experience
Experience working independently and as part of a team
This is an opportunity to join a small and friendly practice where there is the potential to develop and grow within the firm
The salary for this role is between £22,000 - £28,000 depending on experience but may be flexible for the right candidate
