ACT are looking for several persons that are able to assist in our metal fabrications workshop and assembly areas.
Ideal applicants would have some engineering or workshop experience, however training will be given. The tasks are varied and can include, operating machinery, manually grinding/cleaning metal parts, final assembly of items. Some lifting of moderately heavy items is expected and the materials used will have a base of oil covering them. PPE will of course be provided, as well as safety induction.
Working at our workshop in Aylesford on the Quarrywood Industrial Estate. the basic hours are from 8 am until 4pm Monday to Friday. There may be some overtime also as required. This is a temporary position that is anticipated to last up to Christmas, but could be permanent for the correct person, who can show a good work ethic and is reliable.
The position will require use of stairs and manual dexterity when assembling items.
Immediate start required.
