Data Quality Controller

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Fully remote position
Salary: £18,000


We are looking to fill a new position with our fast-growing client. As the Quality Controller you will be responsible for checking the quality of data used and presented to potential clients. Attention to detail and problem solving will be key in this role.

To do well in this role you need to be organized, have excellent communication skills, a good eye for detail, a working knowledge of Microsoft Office, an ability to work independently, problem resolve and show initiative. Our client is a fast-paced company, who are ever changing. The successful candidate will be able to adapt with the company as it moves forward into its exciting future.

Responsibilities:
● Providing updates on the quality of data at weekly meetings
● Implement changes to the data system
● Work with various members of the company to improve the quality of the data
● Aid the Data Scientists with improving the quality of data sets
● Checking data sets with tests devised by others in the company
● Resolving issues reported with the data quality
● Other tasks as the role develops
Requirements:

● Able to effectively problem solve
● High level of both written and verbal communication
● Flexible and ability to adapt
● Excellent attention to detail
● Able to work autonomously
● Experience with the validation of raw data and reporting it would be ideal for this role.
● An understanding of the financial markets would be advantageous.
