Home Care Assistants provide care for our clients in the comfort of their own homes.

No experience required all training is provided in a 3-day online induction course.

If you do have experience we can offer a fast track service through our induction course.

We accept both drivers and walkers but with the work being based a lot in the community depending on your location a driving license may be required for employment.

The pay rates above are for drivers only, walking rates differ depending on the area you work in.

Training:

3-day online induction course

Training bonus paid once you have completed your care certificate

Opportunity to do NVQs after your probation is completed.

After training – You will shadow one of our experienced carers until you feel comfortable

Pay

The pay rate stated in this Ad, £11.45 weekday and £12 weekend.

Not on this Ad is the time and half you will get for working bank holidays and Double time for working Christmas Day & News Years Day.

For a walking round, it differs as the rates above are inclusive of travel time and petrol.

Responsibilities

Aiding with getting out of bed, washing, dressing, meal prep and medication assistance. 

It is not all personal care, sometimes it’s some shopping or having a chat and a cuppa. 

Entering visit details using an electronic monitoring system via a handheld device 

Working hours are based on 7.00 am to 2.00 pm and 2.00 pm to 10.00 pm.

We ask the whole team to work one shift every other weekend, start at 7 am and do two evenings a week. We all want to spend time with family, working every other weekend means all the whole team do not miss out.
