Safety Support Officer

Based in Ashford, Kent

£10.20 Per hour

Temporary - 40 Hours per week

We are looking for Safety Support Officers at their Ashford site to start immediately. As the Safety Support Officer, you will be working front line in a busy hospital. Must be flexible as some shifts will be on a weekend and evenings where required

Duties & Responsibilities for Safety Support Officer.

* Executing risk assessments for COVID and reviewing completed historical risk assessments
* Engaging in face-to-face discussions while completing risk assessments to determine appropriate actions required
* Be responsible for updating and inputting results and data on Excel spreadsheets of findings
* Be able to deliver assessments in a discreet and confidential manner
* Support H&S team should requirements arise

Person Specification:

* Strong knowledge of MS suite and Excel essential
* Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
* Prior experience of risk assessments and understanding of H&S would be advantageous
* Ability to learn and implement new information and practices quickly would be ideal
