We are looking for an experienced Accounts Manager/Bookkeeper to join our small company based on the outskirts of Canterbury. Ideally a full-time position is sought although working reduced hours will be considered for a suitable candidate.
Working as part of a small friendly team, the successful candidate’s role would include processing all sales and purchase ledger invoices, reconciliation of bank accounts & credit cards, completing VAT returns & submissions to HMRC, managing CIS submissions and payments, monthly reconciliations, processing staff payroll and expenses, preparing monthly management reports, budgets and cash flow, and taking accounts through to trial balance stage.
You should hold a professional bookkeeping qualification or AAT qualification or higher and useful skills would include:
Good Level of Computer Knowledge
Competency in Microsoft programs
Knowledge of Bookkeeping software – QuickBooks/Xero/Sage
Good knowledge of Book Keeping
