Contract: Fixed Term: 1 year until 01/03/2022
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, excluding half hour lunch break per day. In order to maintain service delivery, flexibility to work outside of normal office hours (Mon-Fri, 9-5) will be required.

The role: When someone’s mental health declines, it could be due to the effect of ongoing social problems - such as housing issues, debt or becoming isolated from others. We can provide support in these areas, alleviating the pressures they face and allowing their wellbeing to improve. You will be responsible for providing one to one support and advice to people with mental health needs.
As a community link worker you will promote recovery and community participation of individuals aged 17+ by assessing their needs and setting goals. You will work closely with statutory and voluntary agencies to help individual’s access appropriate support in the community.
What you need:
-Experience of supporting people with mental health needs
-Good communication and people skills
-The ability to develop constructive relationships with the people we support
-The ability to develop strong working relationships with other organisations
-Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills.
