We have an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated CAD Technician to join our technical department. The position will involve creating new drawings, working with the sales team to produce sales and customer approval drawings, detailed drawings, and document control elements.

This is a full-time role, Monday-Friday overtime available. A competitive salary is offered dependent on skills and experience.

Hours/Benefits - Basic 40 hours per week (Monday-Friday 8.30am-5pm). Consistent overtime available, 20 days holiday plus Bank Holidays, climbing to 25 years for every year of service (3 days to be used for Christmas shutdown). Auto-enrolled into Company pension scheme.

Duties (not limited to) - General arrangements, layouts, Sales drawings, Customer approval drawings, Specific detailed drawings. Producing manufacturing drawings, Document control, Working closely with the production staff during fabrication, Layout drawings for laser cutting, Ordering materials for required projects, Site visits when required.

Skills and experience required - Experience as a CAD Technician, Knowledge of AutoCAD 2D, Experience of laying out drawings for workshop and site use, Experience of design for manufacture is required, Great attention to detail and pride in drawing appearance. Proficient in Microsoft Windows Software Packages - Outlook/Word/Excel/Adobe/Acrobat PDF

Full driving license and own vehicle is required due to location.
