INFORMATION MANAGER ROLE
Due to an exciting and rapidly expanding portfolio, my client is looking for an experienced Digital Information Specialist (as an Information Manager on projects as well as in a wider BIM Consultancy role) to join their team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and ambitious Digital Information Specialist – with a proven track record of working and leading on multiple projects across a variety of sectors – to join a multi–award-winning team. Their projects involve a mixture of working with clients, contractors and consultants and also include a number of research and development projects that are pushing the boundaries of current best practice delivery.
The role will be a mixture of developing information requirements and helping teams to deliver against those requirements. They also encourage their teams to push their thinking forward on every project that they deliver and they aim to improve their service every time they start a new project.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years (post qualification) experience and, for this post, will require a good understanding of how to support delivery teams with information delivery around open standards. Whilst My client’s core business is Architecture, they would welcome and encourage anyone with other backgrounds to complement their existing team.
The location for this particular role is around London and the South East of the UK. The candidate will be based in either their London or Westerham (Kent) studio; however, the role suits an element of homeworking and my client would be very happy to discuss flexible arrangements in this regard. They are happy to support home working, if desired, or working within their London or Westerham (Kent) studios. The role would also include some travel around the South East to support business development for my client. Post-pandemic, there will also be some travel to their Sheffield and Birmingham offices, although they will continue to use technology to stay connected on a day-to-day basis.
Please note that this role is not a BIM Coordinator role and my client is specifically looking for an individual who has experience of writing detailed information requirements from scratch and setting up the associated delivery for project teams.
