The role entails


• Assisting with the preparation of Self Assessment Tax Returns
• Working with the tax partner in order to deal with any internal technical tax queries
• Prepare and deliver tax advice to clients
• Working directly with the tax partner in order to develop tax planning ideas
• Working with the tax partner to prepare US Federal Tax Returns


A successful candidate will have the following skills and experience


• Previous experience working as a Tax Senior/Manager is essential
• CTA qualified, but ATT, ACCA and ICAEW qualified candidates will also be considered
• At least 4 years experience working within a firm of accountants
• Experience working in mixed UK taxation (both private and corporate clients) would be beneficial
• Good time management and the ability to meet deadlines
• Experience undertaking detailed research
• Experience with US tax is beneficial but not essential


The salary for this role is between £35,000 - £45,000 depending on experience
