2nd/3rd Line Support vacancy, based in Ashford, 3-6 months, day rate £200-£250 in scope.

Opportunity for an experienced IT Support Analyst to join a very busy, fast-paced IT Infrastructure department.

The successful candidate will provide the 2nd/3rd line support function of the IT Infrastructure Team, working closely amongst a geographically spread team within the business, whilst, assisting the Infrastructure Engineers where needed to resolve more technical issues as they arise.

This opening in the IT Infrastructure team requires strong customer facing skills, with a hands on approach and excellent communication skills both written & verbally.

Experience of working within an IT Service Desk environment is essential, as is the ability to follow processes & procedures.

Specification:

* Communicating effectively & responsibly with end users
* Experience of desktop operating systems (Windows 10) is essential, as is exposure to the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel & Outlook)
* Knowledge of Anti-virus and anti-malware methods and solutions.
* Component level understanding of IT infrastructure.
* Knowledge of ITIL working practises is an advantage
* A proven record of providing support in a busy IT environment
* Basic understanding Windows Server 2012 R2 / 2016 / 2019
* Good understanding of Windows 10
* Work well within a team environment
