Our client: Our client is one of Kent's leading measured building surveyors and provide a wide range of BIM / Revit, building & land surveying services. With over 30 years' experience, our client has built an established reputation as surveying partners the UK Construction sector.

Job purpose:
Due to the diverse nature of our client's business you will deal with all aspects of Land & building surveying operations. Managing the company resources and handling client enquiries. Managing health and safety and reporting on efficiencies and job progress. Managing the fleet and day to day operations. To support the organisation in providing a high standard of surveying services through achieving successful outcomes for our clients.

Accountabilities:
The role will involve working across a number of projects in different sectors and being able to provide a range of building surveying duties to both a competent and high standard, to include (but not limited to) the following

* Ensure, contribute and identify on the delivery of quality assured client focused projects and services to meet the agreed clients' requirements.
* Promote a professional service on behalf of the Company to official representatives of external clients.
* Continually monitor including materials, labour and improve wherever necessary and control costs.
* Support the company in terms of client development and to be able to demonstrate an ability to foster professional relationships with new and existing clients.
* Carry our risk assessments and deal with all compliance documentation including H&S.
* Monitor, report and act on performance, process, quality and budget control, reporting to senior management on a regular basis.
* Management of teams including remote workers
* Occasional visits to site as and when required

Skills & knowledge:

* Experience in a similar related role
* Must be good communicator and have good people skills
* Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite
* Knowledge of the construction and building sector
* CAD drawing knowledge would be beneficial
* Familiar with current construction, health and safety legislation
