Venrec are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of our client, one of Kent's leading recruiters of LGV drivers for an LGV 1 Night Shunter Driver to work on behalf of our client based in Paddock Wood


This role involves


• Maneuvering trailers to the required areas in a timely and compliant manner
• Ensuring that all vehicle & trailer checks are completed and defects reported where necessary
• Completion of all related paperwork
• Coupling/ uncoupling of trailers
• Continually checking fridges are set at the correct temperature
• Occasional deliveries to RDC’S and collections from farms/ pack houses


Salary and hours of work
The hours of work are Wednesday to Saturday based on 12 hour shifts commencing at 17:00 approx. With the opportunity of overtime being available.
• Rates are shown below and please note that Holiday is paid in addition for PAYE and is not paid via an Umbrella company.
o Monday to Friday 18:00 + = £13.25 per hour
o Saturday = £14.00 per hour
o Sunday 00:01 + = £16.81 per hour


All applicants must hold a valid LGV 1 driving licence, digital tachograph card/CPC and due to insurances you must not have more than 6 points and no DD or DR endorsements.
