We have vacancies for well-qualified and enthusiastic graduates to join our staff as Assistant Tutors for three academic terms starting in September 2021.

The Junior King’s School is a co-education Day and Boarding School for pupils between the ages of 3-13, offering superb educational, boarding, (with current boarders from 9 years+) extra-curricular and sporting facilities.

The role will involve supporting children in class and in sport and assisting with boarding duties. An ability to assist with the co-curricular life of the school is important.

The role is likely to suit those seeking further experience of working with children prior to teacher training. Ideal candidates will be able to provide support in English, Maths, Science and Humanities lessons and assist with the coaching of rowing or boys’ sport (football, rugby, hockey & cricket) or girls’ sport (hockey, netball, tennis & cricket).

Single accommodation within a shared house will be provided together with all meals during term-time. Salary, inclusive of holiday, £14,058 per annum (Figure advertised includes deduction for accommodation offset and may be subject to increase in September 2021).
