• identilam, incorporating idensys, is a leading provider and developer of access control software and products, primarily Event Badges and ID Cards, that has been servicing high profile international sporting events, conferences, colleges, and large security establishments for over 30 years.

• Our powerful, best-in-class software can design and print multiple types of ID cards on-site or remotely through our dedicated in-house Bureau service. Issued badges can be tracked from machine readable data and access granted or denied to a venue, building or external site. identilam provides a full one-stop shop for badges, lanyards and all other accessories and attachments to help display ID cards.

• The Company is based in the South East of England, and as part of CCL Industries, the largest label company in the world, we have sister companies and affiliates all around the globe across a wide variety of industries and sectors, enabling us to identify substantial corporate and individual growth opportunities.

The Role:

We are now building out our teams to prepare identilam to fulfil its incredible potential in 2021 and beyond, and are looking for a Sales and Business Development Executive to join our experienced and knowledgeable team. The successful candidate will demonstrate a natural ability to identify and close New Business Opportunities and play a key role in generating continuous sales growth from our existing customer base, enhancing our reputation for market leading service and expertise. Strong performance will be rewarded with rapid career progression.

Tasks:

• Build a Pipeline of Sales Opportunities through Active Lead Generation: Make daily outbound calls to prospects, proactively identify opportunities for new business, generating, qualifying, processing and following up on leads, ensuring all details are noted on the company’s CRM system, progressing the lead to a formal quotation.

• Manage an Assigned Current Book of Business and Develop Accounts: Responsible for retention and resigning current accounts, learning more about assigned customers and generating new business leads within the assigned customer base.

• Issue Quotes: Process email, website, and telephone enquiries. Follow up responses if unanswered, provide samples and sample packs. Provide clear and accurate pricing and product information, send & chase customers for product specifications.

• Close Sales: Progress initial enquiries through the quotation stage to confirmation of a Sales Order, including agreement of delivery timeline and payment terms.

• Understand identilam’s full product range, be able to talk through our solutions with potential customers and demonstrate the company’s software offering via both online screen sharing and face to face customer meetings.

• Attend trade shows and networking events to promote and demonstrate identilam products and services.

• Act as a liaison between the customer and identilam’s Development team to ensure clear understanding and ability to fulfil a customer’s product requirements within agreed lead times.

• Contribute to the setting of the account sales strategy and implement the strategy to maximise growth opportunities for the business.

• Drive profitable business growth through a clear understanding of financial KPI’s.

Requirements:

It is likely that you will already possess at least 3 years’ experience in a Sales environment, preferably in one or more of the B2B Software and / or Service sectors, demonstrating a track record of sales growth.

Initially, this will be a stand-alone role with clear KPIs based around sales figures, however for exceptional candidates, there is a strong possibility of quickly assuming a more senior leadership role.

Outstanding communication skills at all levels of the business, with an ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

• You will need to demonstrate a solid track record of hitting sales targets, identifying customer needs and presenting solutions to drive success and growth.

• An ability to converse in French will be considered favourably.
