• A unique opportunity has arisen in our small, friendly and very busy e-commerce company. The role available is for a Purchasing and Customer Service Administrator. We are a local, rural business offering a window on the fabulous world of the honeybee. Selling beekeeping equipment across the UK and the rest of the world, we have been and continue to be extremely busy, with several new projects on the horizon and we need you!
We are looking for someone with a purchasing background – and with this you will preferably have experience dealing with importing and exporting goods, including dealing with international container orders.
We expect a good working knowledge of Excel and Shopify, and any experience working with Veeqo would be advantageous.
You will be based in the busy Sales/Customer Service Office and you will be answering the phone to customers as an integral part of your role. You will therefore need you to be a diplomatic, skilled communicator who can deal with incoming queries (via the phone and email) efficiently and effectively; customer care needs to be your thing!
Someone who understands the importance of an integrated, joined-up approach between their Purchasing role, the Sales Office and the Warehouse, where the orders are picked, packed and dispatched is essential.

Hours and availability.
You will work a forty-hour week, 08.30am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday with some Saturday working, at our busiest times, during the summer months. We also have a busy trade show programme and as part of the team, you may be required to stay overnight to facilitate the running of these shows.
