Due to our growth we are looking for an enthusiastic and professional individual to join our busy Own Brand team working across all categories from initial concept through to bulk sampling for our in-house collections. You will be responsible for ensuring the product is produced to the desired quality and standard, whilst assisting in the coordination and production, meeting deadlines.

Responsibilities:

- Liaise with team members, other departments, factories and international suppliers.
- Work closely with the Product Developer and Product Developer Managers with day-to-day tasks.
- Amend style sheets, cad drawings and tech packs where required.
- Communicate with suppliers, gathering key information on styles- sorting any potential issues within the sampling process.
- Take part in weekly meetings to discuss all projects and fits sessions.
- Maintain and update all style sheets and range plans.
- Work with the team on the approval of lab dip, print strike-offs and embroideries at sample stage.
- Measure and make notes related to the products.
- Ensure fabric qualities ,fabric colours, embroideries, prints, trims & labelling, packaging are presize before production commences.
- Assist with the critical path management.
- Work closely with our suppliers to track samples for signs-offs and press days/photo shoots.
- Assist in organising sample rails for the meetings.
- Assist in updating the sample tracker/production approval status.
- Box and categorise samples.
- Check order confirmations and resolve any discrepancies.

Requirements:

- Well-presented and professional with a positive attitude.
- Good English language skills, both written and verbal.
- Fast learner, able to adapt to changes and use in-house computer systems.
- Experience in fabrics and design or childrenswear, personal interest in fashion.
- Good Product development competency.
- Good time management, ability to organise, multitask, prioritise and work well in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent computer skills with experience in using MS Office applications, Adobe illustrator and working on CAD and Excel is essential.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Methodical and diligent work.
- Good interpersonal skills and a team player.

This role is based at our Head Office in Tunbridge Wells, however, due to the current Coronavirus pandemic will require flexibility and some working from home.
