Assistant Accountant/Business Partner | Remote Working | £25 - £30k

A dynamic and rapidly expanding services business is looking to recruit an Assistant Accountant/Business Partner to join their growing team. Working closely with the Management Accountant and Business Analyst, the role will is an ideal opportunity for a professional individual to be comfortable working both at a detailed transactional level and summary level to manage all financial aspects of a significant client portfolio, working effectively and proactively with client delivery team as their finance business partner, taking responsibility for some of the following key areas:

• Raising sales invoices and processing of project related costs such as staff timesheets, expense claims and contractor invoices
• Project accounting entries for accrued and deferred income and cost accruals
• Review and co-ordinate the production of monthly project accounts and commentary including flash revenue, project profitability, revenue and gross profit forecasting, weekly work in progress and overdue debtors’ reports.
• Support to ensure contracts and purchase orders are in place and effectively managed
• Oversight of credit control and minimising work in progress
• Input to continuous improvement cycle for our newly implemented accounting software as we move to real time reporting and forecasting

The ideal candidate will possess recent experience working with large sets of data, strong management accounting skills and also enjoy analysis.
