This very good secondary school, based in Maidstone, Kent, are looking for a teacher of English to start in September 2020. This role will ideally be filled on a contract basis but temporary and supply candidates will be considered.

This secondary academy has a good English department and regularly produces good results. They are currently looking for an experienced teacher or an NQT to compliment the current team and add new ideas. The successful teacher will be asked to plan and prepare their own work but support will be on offer.

This school is accessible both by car and public transport with ample parking for those choosing to drive. Resources and facilities at this school are very good and a wealth of support will be provided by senior leadership and by colleagues in the department.

In order to be considered for this English Teacher role you must have:

A good understanding of the English curriculum at KS3 and KS4
A knowledge of basic intervention techniques
Ability to inspire students in the classroom
Ability to teach mixed ability classes
Innovative teaching style
Willingness to embrace new teaching technologies
