Hernhill CE and Ethelbert Road Primary Schools are looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable person to look after our outstanding schools. If you have the ability to use your initiative, work independently but are also a great team player, then we would love you to apply.
The successful candidate will work across both schools - Hernhill in the mornings (7:00-11:30am) and Ethelbert in the afternoons (3:00-6:00pm). The hours are 37.5 per week. Additional hours may be worked, if required, by arrangement with the head teachers.
We encourage you to visit both schools, take a look at the sites and meet the headteachers.
Duties include unlocking/locking/security/alarms, keeping outside areas clean & tidy, management of caretaking and cleaning supplies, property maintenance including minor repairs, redecoration, Health & Safety responsibilities including legionella testing/fire alarm testing/water temperature checks. Training can be arranged as necessary.
You will need to be organised and ideally live locally.
