Main roles and responsibilities
• Conduct routine maintenance and testing on commercial electrical systems, and ensure installations meet current UK standards
• Plan the layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures based on job specifications and local code
• Execute plans of electrical wiring for well-functioning commercial electrical systems which will include ATS and UPS infrastructure,
lighting, intercom, security and other electrical systems
• Install electrical systems to 18th edition wiring regulations
• Install electrical apparatus, fixtures and equipment for alarms and security systems
• Diagnose and repair electrical problems in commercial electrical systems, including fault-finding, rewiring, and monitoring
• Rewire existing/faulty electrical systems, such as lighting, heating systems, and CCTV systems
• Inspect electrical systems, equipment and components to identify hazards, this may include IR and other hands-off systems, identify
defects and the need for adjustment or repair – ensuring compliance with regulation
• Assess the parts needed for a job and order those parts through appropriate channels
• Provide professional assessments and advice for the senior management and maintenance team
• Possess working knowledge of Building Management Systems
• Demonstrate familiarity with NICEIC requirements
• Keep an up to date records of work carried out as required, including risk assessments, method statements and SOPS.
• The applicant may be required to travel between any of our current Kent and London site. Company vehicles will be available

The successful applicant will:
• NVQ/City & Guilds Level 3 Qualified with 17th or 18th Edition
• Hold an ECS Gold Card
• Hold 2391 & 2392 or 2394 & 2395 – Testing and Inspection qualifications
• A full UK driving licence
• Have excellent communication skills
• Have an enthusiastic approach to work alone and as part of a team
• Be reliable and flexible
