Title: Customer Service & Social Media Assistant
Type: Permanent
Start date: ASAP

Hours: Full Time and Part Time shifts available, between (8am – 5pm) and (5pm to 10pm), Monday to Sunday or a mixture of the two.
For the right person, we are happy to accommodate the shifts that work for you and the business.


We are a small but rapidly growing ecommerce company selling Cleaning, Homewares, Kitchen and Storage products to our growing customer base across the UK and USA.

We are looking to recruit Customer Services Agents to join our small, friendly team to extend the hours that we provide first-class customer services to our customers both in the UK and USA.

You will be responding to customer queries and providing first-class customer support via social media, email, telephone, and live chat.
You will need to be able to work quickly and efficiently, have good time management, a pleasant telephone and email manner and a good standard of written English.

Please be aware that you will initially be working remotely from home and then from our new purpose-built offices in Snodland from September 2021. Please only apply if you are comfortable with this and able to travel there.

Your responsibilities will include:
• Responding to customer queries via social media, email, telephone, and live chat
• Taking customer orders over the telephone
• Responding to customer messages/posts on Facebook and Instagram, encouraging conversation around our products which will hopefully lead to engagement and sales.
• Processing returns and refunds.
• Opening/closing the premises some days, so you may be a designated key holder.

Expectations:
• Responding via Emails: An average of 20 emails responded to accurately per hour
• Telephones (Inbound CS): Using our script to welcome callers and deal with the reason for their call. Answering all calls within 5 rings with a welcoming and helpful manner.
• Telephones (Inbound Orders): Using our script to welcome callers and take their order. Answering all calls within 5 rings with a welcoming and helpful manner.
• Live Chat and Administration: Responding to Live Chat requests in a timely manner with both new and existing customers regarding our products, chasing orders, dealing with returns and refunds.

It would be helpful if you have experience of the following:
• A good standard of general internet use including Facebook & Instagram.
• An inquisitive mind
• Accurate with a good attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills
• A pleasant and helpful telephone manner
• A customer-centric attitude
• Experience of Microsoft products

This is an excellent opportunity to join our small, friendly team with room for growth as the company expands.
No experience necessary as full training will be given.
