We are looking for a manager to join our Children and Young people team delivering services for Young Carers and disabled children. You might have management experience already or be looking to take the next step in your career.

Based in Tunbridge Wells, you will manage and develop a small team covering parts of west Kent, Southwark and East Sussex, overseeing planning and delivery of activities, and must be able to monitor and evaluate performance with a strong focus on outcomes.

You should be able to form effective relationships with young people, volunteers and colleagues at all levels; and have a good understanding of professional boundaries. You will be required to deliver some activities in person. Additionally, the role involves networking and developing relationships with a range of statutory agencies and voluntary and community partners.

Applicants should have relevant experience in social care, health, education or voluntary and community sectors relating to working with Children and Young People. You should also have experience of working with complex family dynamics, and knowledge of issues affecting families, including mental health and substance abuse.

As a manager, you will demonstrate an understanding of confidentiality, data protection, safeguarding and boundaries in all aspects of your work. It is essential to be a car driver for this role.
