The role is to provide a homelessness support service to clients in the Trust’s residential properties in Tonbridge and Tunbridge Wells, from referral to resettlement, facilitating their transition from homelessness to independence. Working as part of a team you will help develop and maintain our high quality supported accommodation services, ensuring the service operates in a responsive and dynamic way to the presenting needs of the service users. You will ensure that the accommodation provides a safe and welcoming environment and that services are delivered in accordance with any required organisational and regulatory standards. Our head office is in Tonbridge but can be based at home, visiting clients and the office as necessary.

JOB TITLE: Supported Housing Officer/Support Worker

RESPONSIBLE TO: Support Services Co-ordinator

PURPOSE OF POST: To provide a support service to clients in the Trust’s residential properties, from referral to resettlement, facilitating their transition from homelessness to independence.

37.5 hours per week plus participation in the telephone on-call, out of hours rota (Time off in lieu given).

Working with our service users based in Tonbridge and Tunbridge Wells
