We are Recruiting a Project Co-ordinator for our Digital Champions Project
Role: Project Co-ordinator – Digital Champions
Hours: 16 hrs. pw – (Including one full day on a Tuesday)
Fixed Term: 1 year contract funded by the Armed Forces Covenant – Force for Change programme.
Salary: £10,067 pa (pro rata of £22,021)
Location: FN Community Centre, 1 Baker Road, Cheriton, Folkestone, (Nearest postcode) CT19 4NN (Rear entrance of Cheriton Library)
Annual Leave: 14 days per annum based on a working week of 2.5 days pw (pro rata of 28 days pa).
Reporting to: KCV Snr Project Manager
Funder: Armed Forces Covenant Fund – Force for Change Programme
Main Purpose of the Role: As a member of Digital Unites Digital Champions Network, you will recruit, induct and co-ordinate the training of a team of volunteer Digital Champions (DC’s) (some are already in place). The DC’s will support people over the age of 50 from within the Nepalese community to discover and improve their digital skills. You will work closely with the Digital Champions to establish a recognised and respected volunteer led project based at the Folkestone Nepalese Community Centre.
You will also raise awareness of the project to the wider Nepalese community for the purpose of encouraging participation and recruiting volunteers to support the project.
Closing date is: 9.00am Monday 24th May 2021.
Interviews will be face to face and will take place on Thursday May 27th, 2021 - at the FN Community Centre, 1 Baker Road, Cheriton, Folkestone, CT19 4NN (rear of Cheriton Library)
