Job Description
We are an automotive parts supplier based in Staplehurst.
Our company is looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to manage our day-to-day accounting and finance requirements. Confidentiality, excellent organisational skills and accuracy are important qualifications for this position, as well as the ability to communicate clearly. The ideal candidate for this position is a skilled multi-tasker, is reliable and is committed to consistently meeting deadlines.
Job Requirements
For this role you need to be able to demonstrate and have the following experience:
Familiarity with completing daily and monthly reconciliations and a solid understanding of accounting principles
Correctly record all day to day transactions
Sales from Various channels
Reconciliation of overseas sales with shipping documents for VAT rebates.
Filling of VAT Return
Profit-and-loss statements
Use of Dynamics Nav 365
Prepare BS Reconciliations and co-ordinate with accountants for YE accounts
Co-ordinate with different people / department’s for information
Balance and maintain accurate ledgers
Match purchase orders with invoices
Coordinate bank deposits and report financial results on a regular basis to management
Monitor shop sales and tally and enter cash receipts
Pay vendor invoices and track bank account balances
Develop monthly financial statements, including cash flow, profit and loss statements and balance sheets
Prepare quarterly and monthly tax returns, operating and business taxes
