An exciting opportunity for a Marketing and Communications Officer to join a hugely successful company with offices based in East Kent. Ideally applicants with have 2-3 years minimum experience, degree educated (or equivalent qualification within marketing) and have strong experience with copy writing, content creation and be social media savvy.

Reporting directly to the Marketing Manager the successful Marketing and Communication Officer will be provided with a real opportunity to be pivotal in shaping and influencing the company's marketing strategy.

About the role

* Support the Marketing Manager with the marketing and communications strategy
* Be responsible for managing key marketing channels such as CRM, social media and PR
* Copy writing, create exciting and creative copy for multiple channels including product packaging, blogs, social media as well as press releases and create marketing materials
* Social Media - be pivotal in the growth and strategy of the subscriptions assets of the business, using a variety of content for various social media enhancing the customer journey
* PR - manage all press releases, developing and maintaining relationships with press contacts and external agencies for digital and print media

About you:

* Educated to degree level or equivalent
* Demonstrable experience of creating content for social media
* High standard of written and verbal communication
* Creative flair, good eye for details and able to develop new and exciting ways of presenting existing and new concepts
* Strong understanding and experience of effective marketing communications
