Papercraft Group are looking to recruit hardworking team players with an eye for detail to join their growing production team.

With over 10 years in the specialist paper product sector PaperCraft Group are well established, serving a wide range of commercial customers.

Quality products and market leading customer service are at the center of everything we do, and to deliver this service we are investing in expanding our production capacity at our Ashford site.

To become a valued member of the Papercraft team you will be a hardworking individual who can work under their own initiative and be a team player, happy to help in whatever task is required.

You will possess a keen eye for detail, as quality control is every employee’s responsibility.

The role is a demanding and active position, there will be a lot of time standing, operating machinery, packing boxes and carrying / moving supplies using our specialist lifting equipment.

This role is open to both trainee and experienced candidates as full training will be provided to the right candidates.

The day to day role will include (but not be limited to);

• Following our strict health and safety procedures, to ensure a safe working environment for all staff and site visitors.
• Learning and understanding the different products that we produce.
• Machine Operator training to become a trained machine operative.
• Production of finished products.
• Packing of finished products.
• Working in a warehouse environment.
• Maintaining a clean and organized working environment.
• At all times being a professional representative of the company.

There is a clear route to progression and a structured training/progression plan will be provided to the right candidate.

Core requirements for a successful candidate are;

• Positive can do attitude.
• Good team work ethic.
• Drive and ambition to deliver a high quality product.
• A keen eye for detail.
• Be practical with a aptitude for problem solving.
• Reliability.
• Good written and oral English.
• Competent with basic Maths.

The following experience would be desirable for an experienced candidate;

• Experience of rotary die cutting machinery.
• Experience of label making.
• Experience of printing both digitally and flexographically.
• Forklift truck operating experience / licence (training will be provided if necessary).

Both part time and full time roles are available, part time hours will be 9.30am to 2.30pm Monday to Friday, and full time hours will be 9.00am to 4.00pm Monday to Friday, with potential for overtime on occasions as business needs.

The successful candidate(s) will receive the following;

• A permanent position.
• A competitive salary depending on experience.
• Working in a safe environment with Covid Safe procedures in place.

• A structured development/training plan.
• Uniform provided.
• 28 days holiday including bank holidays (full time position, or equivalent for part time positions).
