We are a distribution company based in Ashford, Kent. Established in 1919 and supply catering equipment alongside other non-food items to the hospitality industry.

We require another likeminded, diligent and enthusiastic team member. The successful recruit will get 28 days holiday including Bank holidays,
The standard working hours will be Monday to Friday 9am till 5.30pm. All staff receives staff discounts on goods we supply, there is free parking and we can confirm all areas have a minimum of 2 meters space, sanitiser stations and one way systems put in place as well as free masks, gloves, visors supplied to any staffs that require them.

This role is for a Purchaser/Stock Controller who will:


  • Be responsible for ensuring all of our clients bespoke product lists have stock and maintain our 99.8% KPI's.

  • Have the ability to analyse information to ensure we are not overstocked on SKU's - this includes seasonal products.

  • Maintain current supply chain relationships as well as grow to look for new partners to work with and re-source lines.

  • Set up and manage supplier accounts

  • liaise with internal departments in relation to large scale outs and opening packs.

  • Maintain all company consumables ensuring stock does not run out.

  • Undertake any other related tasks to support the department.

The successful applicant will have:

  • Good communication skills both written and verbal.

  • IT Proficient (Excel/Word/Outlook Etc.) Sage Line 50 Preference.

  • Ambition to learn / grow and be invested in their role and training.

  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to multi task.

  • An analytical mind and impeccable attention to detail.


It would be great to have but not essential:

  • Previous stock managing experience

  • Knowledge of the utensils and catering industry
