Agile Scrum Project Manager

This is an office-based role in Ashford, but our client is very flexible and there is some possibility to work from home for some of the time when needed. Currently they are working from home 3 days a week and in the office 2 days a week. They are a very forward-thinking company, and are actively trying to help their staff achieve a good work life balance. They have just introduced a 4 ½ day week and finish at 1pm on a Friday.
We are seeking a Agile Scrum Project Manager with 3 years + of experience who is an enthusiastic problem-solver, keen to be involved in all levels of the project. You will manage Enterprise solutions consisting of websites and mobile applications.
As an experienced Project Manager, you will think quickly under pressure, motivate your team, and own the timely and accurate delivery of engagements. The ability to read between the lines, anticipate issues and communicate consistently and accurately across various project channels are key requirements.
In this role, the Agile Scrum Project Manager will manage client and vendor relationships to deliver enterprise solutions composed of responsive websites and mobile applications. A level of technical understanding regarding these solutions is expected.
You will be expected to work as the Agile coach for the team. You will be responsible for monitoring the scrum processes and scrum meetings, planning sprints with the teams and defining sprint goals, organising sprint ceremonies and regularly reporting to senior management on the health and success of each sprint.
You will instil a clear vision and goals within the team creating an environment in which they can thrive.
The role requires you to work closely with the Product Owner to understand priorities and ensure the effective definition, refinement and prioritisation of the product backlog.
As an Agile Scrum Project Manager you will be an enthusiastic problem-solver who thrives on being engaged in all levels of a project. To be successful, you must be able to guide both the client and the internal team to ensure both the tone of the engagement and delivery are on track.
You must think quickly under pressure, motivate your team, and own the timely and accurate delivery of engagements. The ability to read between the lines, anticipate issues, and communicate consistently and accurately across various project channels are key requirements.
Responsibilities
· Manage projects throughout all phases of the delivery lifecycle (initiation, scoping, execution, release, maintenance)
· Manage timelines, budgets and overall project organisation to ensure requirements and project deliverables are clearly communicated, understood and executed upon
· Manage cross-functional project teams distributed over different geographic locations
· Effectively and efficiently plan and prioritise all deliverables and resources working across projects based on scope of work and project goals
· Create project plans that include the critical details to successfully delivery the project such as risks, dependencies, accountable parties, business sign-off, among others
· Work closely with the Development Team to ensure developers deliver products and features that meet the stakeholder and technical requirements
· Act as a client point-of-contact for all day-to-day project related issues, and consistently manage client expectations to ensure delivery of the highest quality service
· Proactively forecast clients' needs, and correctly set expectations
· Track client feedback and integrate that input into improvements to the relationship and delivery process
